eliminating carbohydrates and replacing them with fats. In the first weeks
of the diet, our body is in the adaptation phase (switching to the beginning
of drawing energy from fats). During this period, there may be several
side effects such as hunger, boredom, fatigue, and irritability. After the adaptation phase, the source of energy is ketone bodies produced in our liver, thanks to which our body begins to burn its own residual fat
tissue, and we feel more efficient, light, more energy during the day, reduced appetite, we stop accumulating excess water in the body.

The KETO diet is based on:
• Fatty meats
• Fatty fish
• Eggs
• Fat yellow cheese, blue cheese, processed cheese, mascarpone, etc.
• Animal and vegetable fats: lard, butter, coconut oil, olive oil,
fatty cream, avocados, olives, nuts and seeds
• Vegetables (except those rich in starch and legumes)
To sum up, the KETO diet is a proposal for the most demanding.
A challenge for people who want to go a step further in terms of healthy eating and an irreplaceable way to enhance the functioning of the body of every
athlete.

Important – it does not eliminate carbohydrates from the diet if you
do not have specific premises or research confirming such a necessity!
